Great Threads for a Rainy Day

I have spent a lot of time on Twitter today and have found myself joining in with multiple threads. I have really enjoyed engaging with so many people and thought I would post about these in case anyone else would like to do similar on this rather grey and dreary Sunday.  So, if you are at a loss for something to do or just want to feel part of, here are some of my favourite threads from today:

  1. @clcsimon asked educators to finish this sentence – “You know you’re a teacher when…” there are some brilliant answers. Hurry up and add yours as he is going to illustrate his favourites.

  2. @grahamandre introduced today’s #febmusicchallenge20 which is all about friends. He asked people to share a song that reminds them of a friend – a great thread with some wonderful music.

  3. #PrimaryPicBookClub were asking people to tweet their #FavePicturebookPic. I chose to share ‘The Viewer’ by Shaun Tan and Gary Crew. I adore this book.

  4. @MrRowntreeTeach asked people yesterday to share their Primary School teaching experience. This thread is still being engaged with now and I found it fascinating to learn more about the great people I regularly tweet with.

  5. @deputygrocott asked edutweeters to care by sharing resources with each other. Some great resources have been already been shared so don’t miss out on the opportunity to use these and share your own great resources.

Feel free to message me with other great threads that you have come across and I will add them to this post.

Have a great day.
